Description
For a number of years, we have offered knives made by handmade knifemaker Randy Lee. His knives were first available from us through The Cutting Edge, where he was the profiled knifemaker in July of 2010. A serious hunter, Randy field-tests all of his designs. He wants them to work as great as they look. Not only does Randy produce a fine knife, but he also provides a quality handmade sheath with those knives. His sheaths, which are definitely a step above what is typical on knives of this price level, are handmade by his wife Sonja.
New for A. G. Russell Knives is Randy’s Trailing Point Hunter with a 3-5/8″ trailing point blade of mirror polished CPM-154 stainless at 60-61 Rc. built with a narrow tang. The handle is dyed California Buckeye Burl with a primary spacer of Pine Cone in Resin and Brown Micarta, with thin black fiber and nickel silver spacers. The single guard and butt cap are nickel silver. Measures 7-1/2″ tip to butt. Weighs 4.4 oz. Ships with a beautifully hand tooled leather sheath.
