The Pilar™ is a super compact everyday carry folder with a distinctive minimalist design and an epic tale behind its name. It is low profile and understated when tucked away, and carefully designed to punch above its weight when in use.
Jesper Voxnaes designed the Pilar™ and named it after Ernest Hemingway’s beloved boat—the 38-foot long vessel that he used for renegade surveillance of German U-boats in Caribbean waters during WWII.
The 2-3⁄8″ flat grind blade is 8Cr13MoV stainless at 58-60 Rc. with a satin finish. It is deployed from its stainless steel handle with a thumb slot opening mechanism and is secured with a frame lock for your safety. Measures 3-1⁄2″ closed. Weighs 4.1 oz. Made in China. 99.
