Created in 2005 as the first line of ammunition specifically designed for hunting deer, Federal’s Fusion line utilizes an electrochemical process of core and jacket bonding. This essentially eradicates core and jacket separation, making for better weight retention and expansion after impact. This, in conjunction with their skived-tip design, allows for great expansion at long range with consistent terminal performance up close. These 7mm Winchester Short Mag rounds are loaded with a 150-grain Fusion bullet into a boxer-primed, noncorrosive reloadable brass case and is capable of a muzzle velocity of 3100 FPS. Each box of these one-shot deer stopping rounds comes with 20 7mm Winchester Short Mag cartridges.
