Zero Tolerance ZT 462 Sinkevich with CPM-20CV

Description

The popular 0460 now has a bigger, bolder brother. This super-sized version, designed by Dmitry Sinkevich, has a large 3-3⁄4″ upswept blade of CPM-20CV at 60-62 Rc. CPM-20CV delivers superior hardness and corrosion resistance, along with toughness, wear resistance, and excellent edge retention.

The obverse handle is black and deep-red carbon fiber and the reverse side is titanium with a stonewashed finish. The knife locks up securely thanks to a frame-lock with a hardened steel lockbar insert. Like many ZTs, the 0462 opens quickly and easily with the KVT ball-bearing system and a built-in flipper.

While the first thing you will notice about this big knife is that sweeping blade and handle curve, take a look inside the handle and you will find something familiar if you are a fan of the A. G. Russell™ Featherlite™ Steel handles. ZT has included those same cutouts in the titanium side of this handle to reduce the weight the knife. Measures 5-1⁄4″ closed. Weighs 3.9 oz.
