Description
Yucca filamentosa Color Guard
Yucca filamentosa Color Guard is a striking, rosette-forming evergreen with bold, sword-like leaves featuring rich yellow centres edged in green, providing year-round architectural impact. In mid- to late summer it sends up tall panicles of creamy-white, bell-shaped flowers. Best in full sun and very well-drained soil, it thrives on light, sandy or chalky ground and tolerates poor, dry conditions, making it ideal for gravel and Mediterranean-style plantings, coastal sites, and exposed positions. Slow growing and very hardy, its a dependable focal point for borders or containers where sharp drainage is ensured.
