This replica tinder box is a flat oval, with the lid hinged off center. Neatly polished nickel silver, it measures 2″ x 4″ with about 5/8″ depth. Small enough to fit neatly in your pocket or pouch, and is just large enough for our striker, flint and tinder. The lid is rimmed inside, for a moderately snug “snap tight” fit.
