This is the hard-to-find ORIGINAL elevator rear sporting rifle sight on early production Winchester lever action rifles (Predominantly Winchester 1873 1866 1886). The earliest of elevators (starting in 1866) did not have a number designation or patent markings and is graduated from 50 to 300 yards. The width is 0.10 and the highest adjustment point is at .25 inches.
