Description
This is a standard receiver from a 1947 Model 70 rifle, stamped with the serial number 74114. There is an extra hole drilled in the rear bridge and the bolt stop plunger is jammed in its hole. Someone has attempted a repair on the bolt stop plunger.
There is finish wear on the rails, but the bluing is generally dark and even. There are no notable dings or gouges.
We use the NRA Modern Gun Condition Standards Grading System for grading part conditions. You can read about it HERE
