Receiver – Standard – 1942 – Drilled for Side mount Scope Base

Description

This is a receiver from a 1942 standard rifle, marked with the serial number 32603. The receiver has been drilled with a series of five holes along the left side for a side-mount scope base.

Aside from some worn spots and scratches around the scope base mounting holes, the bluing is in very good condition and there is no rust, pitting or other damage.
