Description
Early Bowie knives were large, tough and sharp! Despite the size of this Bowie, the overall weight is only 1-1/2 lbs. But don’t let the weight fool you; we cut down a 4″ sapling in no time and the blade would still shave. The high carbon steel blade has a needlepoint and arrived sharpened. The hardwood grip is 5-1/4″ and the brass guard is 4-3/4″. Brass strip on the spine is an intentional device designed to catch the edge of an attacker’s blade during a parry. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.
