This is the magazine ring (also called mag hanger) Winchester model 1886 lever action rifle. This ring is unique to the 1886 solid frame and has a hole drilled across the base retaining pin part number wp727pin. If you have a takedown version then you will need part number wp727-b which lacks the hole in the base.
