Kentucky Pistol Buttcap, sand cast brass

Description

Sand cast yellow brass, this buttcap is appropriate for American flint pistols of the 1780-1810 era. Normally retained by an iron wood screw installed from below, we recommend using our Screw-10×1-1/2. Inletting this buttcap will be easier after you file finish the inside edge, and realize only this edge contacts the wood. The cap is hollow underneath.The buttcap is 1-45/64 long, by 1-17/32 wide, by 2-5/16″ tall.
