Russet oiled finished cowhide. Safety straps help prevent the firearm from falling out. Neatly stitched with finished edges, the front strap reinforces the belt loop. Heavy duty snaps lock securely. Barrel end is sewn. Right hand draw only. Fits 1851 or 1861 Colt revolvers with barrels up to 7-1/2″ long. Note: it is very common for the 1860 and some 1861 revolvers to be made with 8″ barrels, those will not fit in this holster.Our brown leather holster has been hand rubbed with natural oil. Maintain it with Neatsfoot oil or neutral leather shoe polish. 1851 Navy revolver shown not included
