Made by Lyman, this “Ideal” front sight is one of our most popular early cartridge era target sights. All 17’s are machined from blued steel. This special sight has a metric dovetail to fit the Lyman Great Plains rifle, CVA, Traditions, and other imported rifles with a .360″ dovetail.The sight height is measured from the bottom of the dovetail to the center of the aperture. Standard .464″ for hunting sights. Each sight includes a set of eight inserts. The dovetail base measures .360″ dovetail, .105″ deep, and .531″ wide.
