This is the forarm tip (cap) Winchester 1894 and 1892 – 1892 (pre 64). It fits the 30-30, .38 & .44 cal lever action rifles. This part is octagon barrel. FYI: the round barrel forForearm caps are hard to find. If you are good with a file you can take metal off of the inside of this forForearm cap and contour it to the round barrel
