Custom (Modified Factory) Pre-War Standard Stock

Description

This appears to be a pre-war factory standard stock that has been highly modified. The inletting appears original but this stock has many custom features. Nearly the entire stock has been trimmed down to create a lightweight, compact stock. It will fit any pre-war (cloverleaf tang) standard rifle except the H&H magnums. It is equipped with a 1/2″ Pachmayr recoil pad and the length of pull is now 13&1/4″. There are no splits, cracks, or deep gouges or dings. The checkering is not original, once the stock was trimmed down the checkering had to be re-cut. The stock has been notched for the use of a receiver sight and slightly lowered along the left side for the use of a Griffen and Howe side-mount scope base.
