Alan Folts’ Minimalist™ series of neck knives have proven to be very popular. These are very small and lightweight knives that come with a versatile sheath that is equipped to work as a neck knife or slip easily onto a belt or attach to gear. The Minimalist Cleaver safely rips through food packets or clothing. The front edge is not sharp. The hole in the blade pays homage to the hanging hole on the old style kitchen cleavers.
The full-tang 2-1⁄8″ cleaver style blade is 5Cr15MoV at 55-57 Rc. with a stonewash finish. Aided by three finger choils, hand-contoured black and green Micarta scales, and a braided nylon FOB, it provides surprising comfort and control. Weighing only 2.4 oz. in the sheath, it is a personal carry you will barely notice. Measures only 5″ overall. 99. Made in China.
