13th to 14thC medieval cleaver falchion sword popular with Crusaders. It is from the same type as the Conyers Falchion, an Iconic sword. An Elmslie 1a typology. Of all the falchion styles it is most optimised for cutting and cleaving! Crusaders and low level soldiers loved this small handy and efficient sword through the 13th and 14th centuries right across Europe.
