Copied from a rifle made and signed by Jacob Stoudenour, 1795-1863. Shown in Gunsmiths of Bedford, Fulton, Huntingdon & Somerset Counties, this is a classic Bedford County longrifle style.A cam-open spring, spring mounting screw, and simple instructons are included. The steel pawl is mounted under the lid to serve as the cam.
