Description
In 2017, we offered a folder with a green anodized titanium handle. Those handles were, mirror polished then anodized green. To accomplish the beautiful anodized green color on a mirror polished titanium surface is very difficult. So many handles are ruined that to produce knives with that type of handle makes the knife way too costly. Our manufacturer has accomplished that same beautiful green on titanium that has a fine bead blast finish. The first knife we chose to produce with that treatment is a frame-lock with milled cross-hatching on the handle front and back surface. Each piece is anodized and then the flat surface on the front and back is polished, creating a contrast between the fine satin finish on those surfaces and the fine bead blast finish (green) on all the other handle and clip surfaces.
This striking frame-lock has a 3-1⁄4″ swedged spear point blade of 9Cr13CoMoV stainless at 58-60 Rc., with a fine satin finish. The blade opens quickly and easily with a flipper. The handle is CNC machined titanium. The single position titanium pocket clip is placed for right-hand carry. Measures 4″ closed. Weighs 2.4 oz. Made in China.
