These Speer 9mm Luger 124-grain jacketed hollow point rounds are loaded into CCI boxer-primed, noncorrosive, nickel-plated, reloadable brass cases, and are incredibly reliable self-defense rounds in a variety of handgun models.
Speer Gold Dot self-defense ammunition has become a legend in law enforcement and home defense. As the first handgun rounds with a bonded core bullet, Speer uses their UNI-COR method of bonding the jacket and the core at the beginning of manufacturing. This essentially eliminates core and jacket separation, making a consistent and accurate hollow point, shot after shot. Each bullet goes through their two-step process for the hollow point cavity, giving Speer more control over how the bullet will expand and its rate of expansion. All Speer hollow points are tested to the FBI’s stringent service handgun tests.
