Winchester’s USA Forged line of ammunition offers frugal shooters a way to enjoy steel-cased ammo and American-made quality at the same time. Each of these 9mm rounds has a phosphate-based coating on its steel casing which prevents rust from settling while in storage. The non-reloadable case is equipped with a non-corrosive Boxer primer and topped with a traditional 115-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) bullet. The round nose projectile cycles excellently and is ideal for target practice or timed drills.
At 115 grains, this bullet profile matches that of many other brands’ training loads and should display similar ballistic travel as well as relatively light recoil. That combination of features makes this ammo a fine choice for blasting with the Kel-Tec Sub-2000, Beretta 92FS, or Belgian FNX-9.
