These Lituanian-made cartridges were manufactured for NATO supply and measure up to the specification M855 5.56mm loads. As such, these cartridges utilize the SS109 projectile which is a 62 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) bullet with mild steel penetrating core and toothed cannelure; the diametric cannelure maintains the projectile’s seat throughout rough handling and repeat chambering in order to prevent setback and produce consistent accuracy. Each FMJ is housed in a reloadable brass casing which has been heat treated to resist splitting at the neck and shoulder.
At the case’s base is a non-corrosive Boxer primer which is accompanied by moisture-blocking sealant around its circumference. This material ensures dependable ignition with every trigger pull and leaves no additional residue within your favorite AR-15 or SCAR-16s. These 5.56x45mm rounds are appropriate for use in Wylde chambers and will easily stabilize from the most common twist rates of 1:7 , 1:8, and 1:9. These rounds bear the NATO cross and are made in accordance with CIP standards.
