Remington HTPs are engineered for reliable expansion and strong penetration. This .45 ACP loading fires a 185 grain jacketed hollow point at an above-average muzzle velocity of 1,000 feet per second with a muzzle energy rating of 411 foot-pounds.
This standard pressure load should feed well in any .45 ACP weapon including the 1911 and Glock 21. It uses all-new reloadable brass casings. Each box contains 50 cartridges.
Remington is an established player in the self-defense market with successful product lines including HTP and Golden Saber rounds. The company is unique among American gun companies in that it manufactures both firearms and ammunition. Headquartered in North Carolina, Remington has a strong presence in the rifle and shotgun markets and recently re-entered the realm of .45 ACP pistols with its re-designed 1911, the Remington R1.
