This is a Featherweight barrel for a Winchester model 70 rifle, chambered in .308 Winchester. This barrel was manufactured in 1953.

Bluing and Metal – 95% – This bluing on this barrel is dark and with very little wear, and most of that is under the stock line. There are a few very small spots of freckling.

Bore – 7/10 – The bore has no throat wear but enough pits that the rating had to be reduced. Borescope verified.
