Description
This 1949 .300 H&H Magnum barrel has had the front sight ramp removed, the rear dovetail filled, the crown re-cut, and it’s been refinished. It was probably bead-blasted before re-bluing and now has a flat/satin appearance. The finish is in very good to excellent condition.
Metal – There is slight damage to the threads from mounting a scope base, but nothing that prevents the barrel from being installed. There are no notable dings scratches, or other damage.
Bore – 8/10 – The bore has no pits but does have some throat wear. Borescope verified.
