This Turkish made ZQI ammunition is the standard NATO SS109 round, which is the exact same bullet as the American made M855. This ammo does contain a steel core in its 62 grain FMJ bullet. This steel core makes up the entire weight difference between the old 55 grain load that was first manufactured when the M-16 started being used in the late 1960s.
This ammo is manufactured with Boxer primed brass casings, which are non-corrosive and reloadable.
