.30 Gov‘t 06 Standard Barrel – 1940 – Refinished

Description

This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1940 Model 70 rifle.

Bluing and Metal – Reblued – This barrel was recently reblued, but installed on a rifle and sustained some wear and scratching. There is minor muzzle wear and scratches on the shank from the rear sight.

Bore – 9/10 – With almost no throat wear and a very few shallow pits, the bore rates a 9 out of 10 under borescope examination.
