This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1954 Model 70 rifle.

Bluing – 90% – This barrel has some finish wear at the muzzle and general thinning and wear along the top of the barrel, including a dime -sized worn spot just ahead of the rear sight dovetail.

Metal – There are no notable dings, gouges, or other metal damage.

Bore – With just a bit of heat cracking in the throat and a few scattered pits, we rate this bore as an 8 out of 10. Borescope verified.
