.30-06 Springfield Featherweight Barrel – Undated – Custom Shop Markings – 95%

Description

This is a Featherweight barrel for a pre 64 Winchester model 70 rifle, chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The bottom of this barrel is stamped with a five-digit number, indicating it went through the Winchester factory custom shop. The crown has been re-cut. This barrel does not have a manufacture date.

Bluing and Metal – 95% – This bluing on this barrel is in excellent condition; mostly dark and even. There are a few very shallow scratches but no gouges or deep dings.

Bore – 8/10 – The bore has only minor throat wear and a few scattered pits. Borescope verified.
