This 12 Gauge shotshell is loaded with 15 pellets of 00 buckshot. Those .33” diameter pellets owe their great popularity largely to their versatility. They are effective at taking larger game like whitetail, caribou, and elk, and are especially useful while hunting in coarse vegetation that would be inconducive to fire a rifle bullet through. 00 buckshot is also marvelous for home defense, as its penetration, stopping power, and the massive wound channel it creates makes it excellent for use against a human-sized target.
