These 25 round boxes of Winchester 2 ¾” 1 1/8 ounce load of 8 pellets represent the perfect “shooter” shotgun shells. They are a fine small game and squirrel/small bird load, but also are a perfect low cost shell to use at the clay range or for general shotgunning, when you just want to shoot a ton of rounds.
It’s the commodity round (8 shot 2 ¾” 1 1/8 ounce) but from a high quality producer; with relatively clean powder, and a low fouling wad, giving you a cheap way to shoot all day while still giving you a bit of versatility if you want to take it out into the field for hunting.
Winchester uses a hinged wad which reduces felt recoil and tends to give more consistent patterning and a better velocity. This particular load shoots out of the bore at 1200 feet per second and represents Winchester’s entry into the bargain shotshell arena, without compromising on the Winchester quality we’ve all come to know and respect.
Suitable for any use from small game to target shooting to just plinking; this is able to be used in any 2 ¾” 12 gauge shotgun.
