Description
This is a .220 Swift standard rifle produced in 1955 with a serial number of 328263. The bolt is correct and serial number matched to the receiver. The rifle is in an unmodified, original configuration.
The original bluing on the rifle is very good, grading at better than 90% with light edge wear, mostly on the bottom metal, and some thinning of the bluing on the bolt knob. The bottom metal has some light edge wear. There are some small dings/scratches in the barrel and on the front sight hood, but no other deep scratches or dings in the metal.
The bore of the 26″ stainless barrel is in very good condition with no pitting but some light throat wear. We grade the bore a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
The Monte Carlo stock appears to have an original finish with some honest wear and handling marks. There are some rubs and shallow scratches and dings but no deep gouges, cracks, repairs, or other damage. The stock has not been shortened and it retains its original steel buttplate.
