Nearly twice the size of a 62 grain .223/5.56x45mm bullet, this 120 grain Open-Tip Flat Base round for 300 AAC Blackout is of the supersonic variety in the caliber. As you may know, AAC and Remington Defense designed the 300 BLK caliber to create a round for use in the AR platform with a .30 cal upper. This 200 round case is a great option, and the open tip design should lead to greater accuracy than the FMJ offerings out there.
Most 300 BLK ammo can be loaded in traditional .223/5.56mm magazines. Remington ammo is produced in Loanoke, AR and its UMC brand of commercial ammo has been available since 1867! This ammo is brass-cased and reloadable.
