This 300 AAC Blackout cartridge by Hornady is outfitted with the old Nebraskan manufacturer’s 110 grain V-MAX projectile. The V-MAX is a real varmint buster, with a polymer tip poised over a precisely formed hollow within its swaged lead core. During impact the tip jams inward, initiating fragmentation that can only be described as devastating. The V-MAX’s tip further grants it stellar accuracy, as does its streamlined profile which provides maximum bearing surface as well as its remarkably concentric jacket and uniform weight distribution.
