This 7mm Rem Mag cartridge from Hornady’s Full Boar line of ammunition sports a 139 grain GMX projectile. The GMX features a one-piece copper alloy construction, so it will not separate upon impact in order to deliver devastating terminal performance, deep penetration, and 95 percent weight retention. This bullet’s copper composition also makes it legal to fire in areas where lead ammunition is banned from use, including California. Its polymer tip streamlines its shape, improving its accuracy and flattening its trajectory, in addition to helping to initiate expansion once the bullet finds its target. The GMX bullet’s long, sleek profile is complemented by its crimping cannelure and pressure relieving grooves, both of which help to reduce bearing surface and fouling.
