These precision .308 Winchester rounds are manufactured with long range competitions in mind. As such, Gorilla Ammunition makes each cartridge with a reloadable brass casing that has been annealed for proper flexibility which prevents splitting while ensuring consistent chamber pressures. The case is loaded with a non-corrosive Boxer primer at its base and an open-tip match (OTM) bullet at its mouth. The OTM weighs in at 175 grains which is heavy for the .308 caliber and preferred by many extended range shooters for its impressive stability past 600 yards.
The bullets used in this load are MatchKings which are sourced from Sierra, one of the most prominent projectile manufacturers on the planet. MatchKings’ are designed with a elongated boat tail and a smooth, uniform ogive for superb drag resistance in flight. This contributes to sub-MOA capabilities when combine with high quality rifles.
