This cartridge showcases Barnes’ TAC-TX FB. Its profile is optimized for smooth feeding, its 100 percent copper body eliminates barrel fouling, and its sharp polymer tip promotes excellent accuracy when you absolutely can’t afford to miss your target.
The TAC-TX FB dominates barriers like fabric and drywall, and it reaches depths up to 20” inside of soft tissue when fired from a 16” barrel. That’s all thanks to its monolithic design, which resists shedding the weight that deep penetration can’t happen without.
The TAC-TX FB’s polymer tip begins to promote breakneck terminal expansion as soon as it meets resistance from soft tissue. The deeper it drives into its nose cavity, the farther it extends the TAC-TX FB’s four mean cutting petals, each of which rips its own separate wound channel.
