This 40 S&W cartridge from Speer’s Lawman Clean-Fire line of ammunition features a 165 grain TMJ FN projectile. Its bullet’s copper jacket extends to cover its base, so ignition won’t evaporate the core and scatter lead fumes to where you can breathe them in. Speer applied the bullet’s jacket via their own proprietary electrochemical process, and as the result it is intensely concentric to deliver great accuracy. This bullet’s flat nose profile is still aerodynamic, but does a better job stamping a neat hole through a paper target to facilitate scoring.
Speer complements their clean shooting TMJ bullet with a non-corrosive Boxer primer that is devoid of toxic heavy metals such as antimony or barium. The Idahoan company’s brass shell casing is of the quality that guarantees smooth functionality in a sem-automatic pistol, and it will serve you well if you handload. This is still a budget-friendly round despite how much and how well it delivers, making a whole case of them a stellar investment in your several upcoming range sessions.
