These American-made .38 Super rounds are nicely priced for the competitive shooter that wants to get some inexpensive training during the offseason. Each of these loads is constructed using a brass casing that can be cleaned and reloaded after firing. A 115-grain jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullet adorns the round’s top while a non-corrosive Boxer primer sits in its base. The JHP has a wide mouth surrounded by jacket skiving much like Federal Hi-Shok ammunition; that makes it great as a self-defense round since the bullet will expand during entry into a soft target. This performance will be magnified even further due to the high velocity from the +P charge.
