THIS AMMO MAY HAVE SOME MINOR RUST SPOTS. We noticed a few rust spots on some ammo that came on the same shipment as this product. We did an inspection and didn’t find any rust on this particular product, but we don’t have time to fully inspect every round. The rust was very minor (sample photos are included above) and the ammo will still function normally.
This 223 Rem cartridge by Tula offers a 62 grain projectile, which falls squarely within the middle of the range for what its caliber offers. Its bullet sports a zinc full metal jacket that will help it to feed reliably in semi-automatic rifles including AR platform firearms, in addition to preventing lead fouling within their bores. This round represents a cost-effective ammunition choice, as its steel casing is significantly less costly to produce than brass — and its price reflects that. The trade-off of course is that, along with its non-corrosive Berdan primer, this round is unfit for work at a reloading bench.
