This 5.56×45 cartridge by Magtech features a 62 grain projectile, giving it ballistic performance comparable to the military’s classic M855. What it will not do like an M855 is penetrate barriers in the same fashion — it’s an economically designed full metal jacket, able to prevent bore fouling.
These 800 rounds are belted together via M27 links. They’re easily detachable if you would like to load them into a magazine, but for rapid fire with a weapon such as the Stoner 63 or M249 SAW linked rounds like these can’t be topped. Magtech’s precision formed brass casings and sealed, sensitive Boxer primers ensure reliable feeding through automatic and semi-automatic alike.
This ammunition is loaded in a sturdy steel ammo can. It’s great for keeping your rounds lined up nicely as you’re directing rapid fire, and will keep its contents safe from contaminants during long-term storage and abuse during transport.
