Its nine pellets of 00 buck are made of tungsten alloy rather than traditional lead, making them substantially denser and accordingly able to retain far greater momentum as they blast through their target. Couple that dense shot with an absolutely blisteringly fast 1,600 fps muzzle velocity, and you’ll be able to direct a veritable cloud of death that’s certain to topple even the stoutest buck or hog.
This shell’s pattern is kept nice and dense by its FliteControl wad, which keeps the shot closer together before cleanly detaching after exiting the muzzle. In spite of this shell’s impressive power, its recoil is surprisingly manageable, so you won’t be knocked on your keister just after drawing a bead on your quarry. This shell is a proven hog buster in particular, able to break through the brutes’ tough hide and plated mud armor like they were made of sugar glass!
