This is an ORIGINAL forearm Cap for the Winchester 1886 lever action rifle. This is an ORIGINAL part taken from an1886 octagon barrel. The forearm cap screws (part number wp54-b) screw through a tenon and hold your forearm cap in place securing the wooden forearm onto the rifle. Measurement across top of forearm cap is .885 inches
