Description
Spyderco’s Ladybug 3 has been a best-seller for years. Clip-less and designed for carrying on a keychain but unlike most keychain knives it s a serious working tool.
The knife and diving world has searched for years for a steel with high-performance cutting abilities that cannot rust. A Japanese steel foundry recently introduced H1, a steel that fits those specifications. H1 is a PH steel, meaning it is a precipitation-processed alloy, that’s rolled hard without heat-treating and has .1% nitrogen which acts like carbon, but does not react to chlorine to make rust. Surprisingly, it holds a sharpened cutting edge comparable to the premium knife steels being used in the industry today.
The new improved 1-3/4″ blade of H-1 65 Rc., is thicker from tip to pivot with a larger round hole and the jimping at the back of the blade improves traction. No clip. Measures 2-7/16″ closed. Made in Japan. The slip-resistant handle is yellow fiberglass reinforced nylon with a volcano grip texture. Weighs nearly nothing – 0.6 oz. 50.
