This 22 LR cartridge by Mexico-based manufacturer Aguila is from their “Colbiri” line of ammunition — Spanish for hummingbird. Quite fittingly this round is very quiet, and indeed only has a muzzle velocity of 420 fps. The cartridge achieves this by having no powder — only its rimfire primer propels its 20 grain lead round nose bullet down the bore. This means a practically whisper-quiet round that you can fire without bothering neighbors, as well as essentially no recoil which is great for introducing new shooters to the sport. Such a quiet round comes with a couple of caveats, however! If you fire this round from a rifle, the bullet may become lodged in its barrel. Furthermore, this round will not cycle the slide of a semi-automatic pistol. Also take note that despite being a 22 LR, this round is a little shorter than what you’re likely accustomed to seeing from the caliber.
