Grosses Messer Medieval Reproduction Sword 1480-1540
The Grosses Messer was a popular medieval sword. This messer was conceived during the renaissance and so it has all the latest features like a knuckle bow and knuckle stud or ‘nagel’. Sword comes complete with a period appropriate leather covered, wood cored scabbard and belt with copper alloy fittings. Sword is hand forged, hardened and tempered from EN45 steel and is sharpened.
