This bundle of 14th Century reproduction pieces has been thoughtfully put together and contains a Clip Point Falchion Sword, a long Quillon Dagger and a bone handled eating knife. It comes at a discounted price AND includes a free cotton sword bag. 

14thC Clip Point Falchion Sword

Popular in most of Western Europe, excepting Germany, this falchion style of short single edged sword was typical of the 14thC and features a straight back with a long sweeping cutting edge and a long clip point allowing for both powerful cuts and wicked thrusts. The blade may be broad, but the use of fullers a radically thinning blade profile and both the clip point and sharpened false edges make this far manoeuvrable than it would at first seem from pictures alone. Well suited to professional fighting men who are not of the knightly class.

Sword comes complete with a period appropriate leather covered, wood cored scabbard and belt with copper alloy fittings. Sword is hand forged, hardened and tempered from EN45 steel and is sharpened.

14thC Long Quillon Dagger

An elegantly long 14thC Medieval Quillon dagger. 

The handle is faceted ash wood, providing very secure grip with excellent edge alignment, the blade is long and slender and although it is robust, this is an excellent gap finder. The flattened quillons and wide and were very popular in this period

Dagger comes with a double layer naturally tanned leather sheath with incised decoration to front and rear and a crimped and decorated latten (brass) chape.

A middle status eating knife with a long brass bolster and bone scales. The scales are fixed with brass and copper rivets, so the whole appearance is quite ‘merchant class’.
