This 30-06 Spring cartridge from Hornady’s Full Boar line of ammunition offers a 165 grain GMX projectile. The GMX features a polymer tip which streamlines it for better accuracy, and also helps initiate expansion of up to 1.5 times the bullet’s original diameter upon impact. The bullet’s one-piece copper alloy construction makes it acceptable for use in areas where lead ammunition is banned by law, and will not separate so it can deliver devastating terminal performance, deep penetration, and 95 percent weight retention upon impact. This bullet’s long, sleek profile is complimented by its crimping cannelure and pressure relieving grooves, which work in conjunction to reduce both bearing surface and fouling.
