Created in conjunction with the Thunder Ranch training facility in Oregon, Corbons’s Thunder Ranch rounds are loaded with their DPX solid copper hollow point projectile, into boxer-primed, noncorrosive, reloadable brass cases. The DPX bullet is made of copper and has external separations to allow for maximal expansion and implementation of larger razor-sharp petals after expansion. These rounds are also lead free, making them legal to use in the state of California, and are capable of soft tissue penetration of as much as 18”. These .40 S&W rounds are loaded with a 140-grain DPX hollow point projectile and are an ideal choice for self-defense. In typical Corbon fashion they are quick moving at 1200 FPS and in conjunction with the DPX petal design create devastating performance for self-defense situations.
